Title of Goods

Merle Cottage LLP t/a petalpost retains title to all goods until those goods have been paid for in full including VAT where applicable.

Payment

Our online credit and debit card payments are processed is a secure area managed by WorldPay plc, part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

The WorldPay Select payment gateway uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data, thus protecting the cardholder.
All communication between the cardholder and WorldPay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the cardholder ’s browser using TLS or SSL security.
WorldPay's public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority ensuring that cardholders can have confidence that nobody can impersonate WorldPay to obtain confidential information.
We would like to reassure you that we take care of the information we collect to fulfil your order, and believe that Internet shopping using a secure server such as WorldPay’s is the safest way of placing your order.

Refunds

We reserve the right to refund any order in full within 24 hours of the order being placed. Such an order will not be fulfilled.

We will refund in full any order not delivered on time (see How it Works section) where we have failed to provide the Royal Mail with enough time to deliver (see delivery terms below) or not paid the appropriate first class postage.

Delivery

We only deliver to the UK.

All flower cards are delivery by Royal Mail using first class post. The usual delivery time would be next day excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays.

We can accept no responsibility for the failure of the Royal Mail to delivery any items within their usual time frames or any damage caused by the Royal Mail or its employees.

If goods are ordered after 12 noon we cannot guarantee they will be sent on the same day. As such the goods will be despatched on the following day excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Complaints Procedure

In the unlikely event that you should have a complaint about our products or services we will deal with the matter with the utmost urgency. All complaints will be acknowledged within 24hours and resolved within this time frame wherever possible, but no longer than 5 working days. Our Rights

We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information on this website. Prices, goods and availability of products are subject to change at any time. Merle Cottage LLP t/a petalpost also reserves the right to withdraw its service at any time, to refuse the service to any customer and to amend these Terms & Conditions, all at any time without notice.

Force Majeure

No liability will be accepted by Merle Cottage LLP t/a petalpost for any failure or delay in performance which is wholly or partially due to an Act of God, War, Fire, Explosion, Riot, Civil Commotion, Restriction by Government or other competent authority, Strikes, Lock Outs, Failure in supplies or to any cause whatsoever beyond our control.

Disclaimer

petalpost‘s total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by petalpost to/for the customer, together with any postage costs incurred. petalpost shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. Every care has been taken to describe and portray items accurately using current technology, but slight variations in actual goods may occur. petalpost cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated in the website – please read ‘How it works’ section. {link}
